where to stay

where to stay

  • Room Block: mention Mahoney Wedding when you call Breakers @ 631-668-2525 or email stay@breakersmtk.com

  • 2 Night Minimum

  • Various room size options ranging from space for 2 to up to 6 or more

  • Across the street from the beach, pool available, restaurant onsite

  • Royal Atlantic: a close to town and beach favorite. The Bride and Groom have stayed here a number of times and always enjoy being so close to everything at a MTK original.

  • Beachcomber or Atlantic Bluffs: slightly farther from town, and with a more of a studio apartment feel, either condo complex is a perfect option for a longer or more homey stay to fill your free time in MTK frequenting the beach and pool. The Bride grew up spending summers staying at Atlantic Bluffs with her family, friends, and (more recently) the Groom!

  • Kenny’s Tipperary Inn: a not-so-modern but great, comfortable and reasonable option that’s closer to the marina / dock part of town. There’s a pool and restaurant on-site and it’s in a great walking location to many other great restaurants, Gosman’s Dock, The Dock Bar (the Father of the Bride’s favorite) and a local smaller beach!

Other Options

We highly suggest checking out AirBnB’s or VRBO’s out in Montauk! There are options all over town and will offer more of a local experience.

If you’d prefer a hotel, and something other than the Breakers, we will be adding a second or third additional room block but please know MTK is a seasonal location so we may not have these alternate options secured until October ‘24 - when the Summer ‘24 season has commenced and the hotel’s books for the ‘25 season open.

Text or call Emily or Steve with any questions and or if you need any help in finding accommodations! We’re happy to help!

what to do and what to see around MTK

what to do and what to see around MTK

Just a few of our favorite places…

For the best sunsets with casual cocktails or brews, head to The Montauket overlooking Fort Pond. Frequented with live bands performing and locals drinking, It’s a fun casual outting.

Some of the best baked goods can be found here, and cup of coffee! Highly suggest trying their creme croissants or jelly croissants. The bride used to love their lobster and lighthouse cookies. If you’re a fan of a black and white cookie, we suggest you try one here!

If you’re like us, you can never leave a visit to Montauk without seeing the Lighthouse. If you have the opportunity to do more than just drive by the end of the ‘The
End’ take a walk around the beaches and cliffs; you’ll find some of the most beautiful views.

The Harvest on Fort Pond is one of the best family style restaurants the Bride has ever had. It’s a ‘must have’ for the Bride and Groom during any MTK visit . The cocktails, service and overall taste of the fresh food - seafood especially, is always delectable.

MTK Brewing may be a brewing company you’ve tried before, especially if you’re from the East Coast, but their tasting room is great to check out! It’s a chance to try any new brews and to get a sense of the brewery’s chill and neighborly vibe. Great dog sitings, too!

Montauk is known for its esteemed beaches and waterfront. The waves are some of the best and there’s no bad time to enjoy the beachfront in MTK. Catch the sunrise with a morning walk, some rays in the afternoon sun or the sunset after dinner!

The bride and groom love to come to The Point for a quick lunch or snack during a visit to MTK. The bartenders are always in good spirits, the food’s dependable and if there’s a game of any kind going on - it’ll be on TV there!

When near the beach there’s always an ice cream craving; satisfy it with a visit to John’s Drive-In! They have incredible homemade flavors that are unlike anywhere else. They’re also located right in town so grab a cone and take a walk to the beach or around the local shops for some souvenirs.

The best lobster roll can be had here at Lunch! They’re known for the famous roll - hot or cold, and it shows as you may have to wait a bit for a table, but feeling the ocean breeze while you wait will be well worth it once you try their menu!

Fun fact - this was one of the first bars that the bride had ever been to! Granted, she was just a few months old stroller hanging - but it became a go-to for dinners, drinks and good times whenever in town for many years to come. The bride and groom love to pop in and hear stories from locals whenever in town. They’re also bound to be serving pretty late!
